Characteristics: The products inherited the advantages of the traditional textile methods and also developed it. Sheath-core bicomponent filament fibers are those fibers where one of the components (core) is fully surrounded by the second component (sheath). The filament fibers are bonded together by hot thermally calendaring. This largely increased the softness and tensile strength.

Good laminating properties: Bicomponent PE/PP and PE/PET nonwovens are sheath-core structure. The component of the sheath is polyethylene. It has lower melting point. The component of the core is polypropylene or polyester. Just because these two materials have higher melting point. So, it maintains the high tensile strength and also has good laminating properties. The melting point of the sheath and core difference between 30 to 130 degrees centigrade. Hence, the production process is easy to control.
Composite processing is including cast, ultrasonic and thermal compound method and others.
Applications
Coated Nonwovens, home textile,packaging materials, drainage board, and agriculture mulch, sand infiltration barrier for drainage tile, roofing underlayment, hot transfer printing, table cover, various protective clothing, house wrap, pipe wrap, insulation, spring wrap, wallcovering blinders for windows, and composite packaging materials and so on.
Because no spinning additives are added during the process, so it has no harm to human skin. We can produce SOFT-PE/PP bicomponent nonwoven fabric with thickness of 0.8 denier, in the weight of 10 to 150gsm and the width of 5 to 320cm.
